History has shown that men can be predators but there is remnant who have defied that stereotype. Up until now, these remnant have largely remained silent – confined to the background because there is no longer room for them in society. While we applaud the need for justice for men who have victimised others in society, we also need to celebrate those who have not. Our hope is that in the process, those men who have not yet had a turnaround can receive from those who have it. This is what ManUwell is all about – celebrating men who have been transformed from “boys” to “men” and endured the storms of life for long enough to begin to model to those who are yet to.
- ManUWell is an online gathering of men every other week and is running 6 sessions in series four.
- A session goes for one hour
- Each session is split into 3 parts: Interactive video, discussions and mini teaching series on how men can function effectively in society.
